But back to why you’re here: the secret to our sexy comfortable gym wear. It all begun with a faithful trip to a local gym many (many) years ago. How many years? Many. We first went because we were like “Hey, what’s this active lifestyle all about anyways?” and words like “swole”, “fitspo” and “beast mode” were becoming so darn trendy. Who doesn’t want to be trendy? Or even better than that, lead the trends! But we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

It’s hard to forget that first step onto the gym floor. The experience was so monumental, there may as well have been a thundering boom as our foot contacted the ground. And maybe there was, because something at that very moment changed. We believed in ourselves a little bit more. We felt just a little better about ourselves. We had just a little bit more energy for our day. It was all small differences at the time, but it kept us coming back to get that “little bit” again and again. We stumbled our way on a treadmill, we turned away from the squat rack, we tried lifting 3x more weight than we were ready for and we looked like a tangle of limbs the first few stretch sessions. Till one day… we galloped on the treadmill with the grace of a Sahara gazelle. We rocked up to the squat rack and were all “Don’t worry, we’re only going to break 17 personal bests this time.” We legit lifted 3x more than we thought we could. We stretched it out with better fluidity than Tirumalai Krishnamacharya. And if you don’t know who that is, don’t worry, we had to Google him just to make this super slick reference. Epic dude.

Basically, we didn’t begin our fitness journey with rock hard abs or butts so bodacious planets could revolve around them. It took time. It took pain. It took failure. It took consistency. It took change. We had to make a change. But along the way we gained strength. We gained confidence. We gained capability. We gained friendships. We gained change. We continue to change. Personal and physical growth could be the most important aspect to life. But who are we to make such a claim? We just engineer gym wear.

Though, that’s the super-sexy magic of it all. It’s not just gym wear. Our gear is different from the rest because it is built with the love of this life.
