  • Behind The Collaboration

Inspired by the idea of strength through unity and that iconic Martin Luther King Jr. speech in 63, this tee allows you to support social change while you sweat.

ASHLEY JENELLE – I'm an entrepreneur, Online Coach, Professional Bodybuilder and IFBB Olympian. My fitness journey began in 2014 when I started training for my first bodybuilding competition. After six years of competing, I have since focused on my coaching platform and launching my own beauty company. Fitness has literally changed my life as it led me to discovering my passion, which is helping people and having a positive impact on others lives. Now, my biggest goals in the fitness industry are to inspire others, share my knowledge, and give back to the industry that has changed my life more than I could have ever imagined. Fitness has helped me achieve so many dreams and aspirations that I’ve set forth for myself and it's played a massive role in the person I am today.

This collaboration and t-shirt design shows praise and adoration to Martin Luther King Jr. and his iconic speech, I Have a Dream. It’s a speech that impacted my youth, and is one I chose to live my life by. To me, this design means change, equality and unity.

When designing this tee, my goal was to create a sense of community and to raise awareness. By wearing this shirt, I hope people can use their platform to talk about its meaning and importance to help change lives, and be a reminder to love each other, no matter your race, creed or color.

  • About The Donation

One of the organisations that we’re donating to is Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI), the only national (US) nonprofit dedicated to the health and wellbeing of Black women.

BWHI is the first and only national non-profit solely dedicated to achieving health equity for Black women in America. Founded in 1983 by Byllye Y. Avery as the National Black Women’s Health Project at a conference on the campus of Spelman College, BWHI has evolved into a nationally recognized organization leading health policy, education, research, knowledge and leadership development and communications designed to improve the healthy outcomes of Black women.

The donation will directly support one of their Signature Programs, My Sister’s Keeper (MSK). MSK empowers young Black women ages 18-30 to be powerful advocates and leaders for their and others' health. BWHI currently have 8 chapters at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and majority institutions across the country, and delivery programming to young women not enrolled in college via the MSK Academy. MSK Academy is a learning hub that provides training, skills, and strategies to advocate for wellness, education, and policy related to Black women.
