Many people have internal excuses of why they don’t want to train their legs hard. “It hurts” is a big one. But most think they are happy with their lower body and just want a nice chest or defined arms. Other excuses may include, “I am not going to be a bodybuilder” or “I don’t need to look like a superhero to be fit”. So before we go any further let me tell you I am not a bodybuilder. Yes, I am a personal trainer, but before that I am a 40 year old husband and father of four. I am in the best shape of my life and have done so naturally with hard work and consistency.
